Jerome Clarke

Jerome Clark began the formal study of guitar at Grinnell Music Studios in Detroit, MI. While attending private lessons he met renowned Detroit Guitarist Perry Hughes. Under Perry’s tutelage he began to play several clubs in and around the City. Some notable performances were with New York’s own Marlena Shaw and the late Charles “The Organ Grinder” Earland. While continuing his education at Eastern Michigan University he met the late Dr. Morris Lawrence, Director of Music for Washtenaw Community College. Under his directive he was exposed to all forms of music. During the past two decades Jerome has performed at world renown Bakers Keyboard Lounge, The Bird of Paradise in Ann Arbor, MI, the Chicago Theater, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and countless private engagements.

Juke Joint

Juke joint: derived from the gullah term ''joog'' meaning rowdy and disorderly. Juke joints served as a social resolve to the daily ebb and flow of those seeking entertainment and activity after a long week. Juke joint 13: A lively excursion into the raw and soulful world of the juke joint. A world filled with excitement, unparalled fantastic music and imagery.

Ed Stone

Jazz guitarist Ed Stone has released his third CD “King Of Hearts.”  This CD continues to demonstrate Stone’s strong skills in song writing, arranging and producing.  Ed says, “everything I write begins with an attitude of fun and a need to express how I feel inside.”  Ed goes on, “my songs are written to excite thinking patterns and personal reflection about life’s possibilities.”

Stone’s creative musical career began in Seattle, Washington at age 12 and now brings him to Detroit, Michigan where he makes his home. Stone studied music in college and has played in numerous jazz and top 40 groups. “I always knew I was a musician inside,” he said, “The guitar allows me to tell my story in a creative way that the listener understands.”

Alise King (The Soulful Diva)

Alise King better known as “Lee Lee” was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Alise started singing at a very young age. While attending high school, she developed a love for writing and performing arts. Her favorite classes being solo and ensemble, and creative writing. She excelled in the arts receiving many music awards, and writing certificates. After high school Alise begin to write her own music and develop her voice and sound. Alise has written 9 stage plays, multiple poems, many short stories and over 250 songs.

Alise has tried out for many televised singing competitions such as American Idol (at the age of 16), X factor, Sunday Best, and The Voice making it to the final audition round of each show but never onto the show. Alise has won the 107.5fm mason radio new soul singer competition in October 2010. Alise also recently won and became the Detroit winner for The BET Apollo Live Lounge Tour Competition in November 2012. She also is the One of The Lead vocalist for Detroit’s own HTS BAND and has been a member since 2006. In December 2011 Alise made the COVER of The Michigan Citizen Newspaper for her performance at The Acoustic Guitar R&B Live Show held at the Jazz Café in Music Hall, She was also Published in the Michigan Citizen Newspaper again In February 2012 for her Tribute show Honoring The late Whitney Houston, and in January 2013 She made the Detroit Free Press for her Live Show at Shots Bar in Greek town Casino.
