Hands of Light in Action is a USA based 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer driven that provides "hands on" assistance to survivors of natural disasters using maximum impact and minimum bureaucracy. HOLIA was started by Nancy Malone, PT after Katrina devastated New Orleans and Mississippi in 2005. She has devoted her life to assisting people in need with her greatest 
passion being assisting during disasters.

Fatima Washington

After taking off four years to attend college, Fatima decided to pursue music full time.  In a short time, Fatima has gone from just another young performer to having her own night at several clubs and restaurants.  Most recently, Fatima has opened for Jagged Edge and sung back up vocals for Trace Adkins while on the Shine On Tour with Martina McBride to thousands.  Additionally, she has opened for After 7, Keith Sweat, Bobby Valentino, the SOS Band, The Whispers, and shared a stage with Tony Award winner Heather Headley.  Fatima has toured New York, California, Chicago, Atlanta, Dayton, and various parts of Europe, including The Eiffel Tower in Paris, leaving indelible marks at every event.

At home in Indiana, she started singing background vocals and recording voiceovers on various studio recordings for Sweetwater Sound, several of which are in rotation.  Fatima has performed for Down the Line Concert Series 2009, The Homeless Walk, Fort Wayne Urban League Black & White Ball, Indianapolis Sickle Cell Foundation, Indianapolis Black Expo, and Fort Wayne Magazine’s Women’s Night Ou,t to an audience of over 2,000.  She truly has made a name for herself.

On September 24, 2011 Fatima released her debut CD ‘A Part of Me’ to the world.  This CD has her hits singles “Loving you” and “Follow me.” Get these singles and the entire project on iTunes, Amazon, bandcamp and several other internet stores for digital download.  Fatima wrote and arranged all of the songs on her CD.  Additionally, she co-produced portions of her album with local producers.  In fact, you will find that she also plays instruments on a few songs for the album.  She is on the studio writing new material for her upcoming project and other singers.

With the talent that she possesses this singer/songwriter is well on her way to success in the music industry.  Simply put “catch her while you can.”

Detroit saxophonist De'Sean Jones is a world renowned musician, well regardedfor his powerhouse sound and unique approach to modern jazz and electronicmusic. De'Sean has been mentored by true masters of music from Detroit's ownMarcus Belgrave and Rodney Whitaker, to saxophone giant Gary Bartz. Jones hasalso performed live and recorded with grammy award winning artists "The ClarkSisters" and Yolanda Adams, while sharing the stage with the likes of music IconStevie Wonder.De'Sean is an active member of the legendary electronic music collectiveUnderground Resistance. For the past 7 years Jones has been touring the worldand co producing records with Techno Pioneer Mike Banks & keyboardist JonDixon.At this point in his career, Jones is focused on creating and releasing new music.As a follow­up to his 2011 album "De'Sean Jones Septet," Jones continues tocompose genre­bending music that is both soulful while thought­provoking.De'Sean Jones is currently promoting this new music with his latest ensemble"Knomadik Project" which will release an album in 2015.
