THE NEW DAY COLLECTIVE is a jazz fusion band made up of Detroit’s best of the best. Influenced by The Crusaders, The Brecker Brothers and Snarky Puppy, this band brings its own new and creative voice to the genre. They play with a heavy dose of funk, rock and jazz featuring well-crafted original compositions and open improvisational sections. This band brings the fire!

Pianist Omar Sosa and violinist-vocalist Yilian Cañizares have come together to create Aguas, a beautiful and very personal album. Featuring their compatriot, percussionist Inor Sotolongo, Aguas reflects the perspectives of two generations of Cuban artists living outside their homeland. The material on Aguas is an inventive and engaging mix of the artists’ Afro-Cuban roots, Western classical music, and jazz. Come join us.
Jules is a singer/songwriter steeped in soulful mellow pop with jazz and R&B feels. Artists like Sade, Stevie Wonder and Norah Jones are a few of her biggest influences. She is currently attending the Detroit Institute of Music Education majoring in Songwriting while playing shows regularly. She has shared the stage with several notable artists such as Alessia Cara,“The Voice” finalist Christian Cuevas, and famous singer-songwriter Janice Ian. She has been featured in PBS episode “Detroit Performs” and has featured compositions in iHeart Radio Podcast “Hit Man.”

It tells of a curious little butterball named Kolobok. Two silly woodland creatures take Kolobok on a big adventure. As he goes on this journey he learns about the world around him and encounters some very interesting characters.
