Marvin Thompson Jr.’s Blueprint features some of the most respected and prolific

musicians to hail from the Metropolitan Detroit area. Performing on various

outside projects as well as collectively for over 10 years, the group featuring

Marvin Thompson Jr. on keyboards, Djallo Djakate on drums and Takashi Iio on

bass is committed to making relevant music. With heavy traces of jazz and soul,

the group shines when delivering original material; equally the case when they

place their musical signature on cover songs. Often collaborating with additional
