Nikki Pearse is a well-known vocalist in the Detroit Metropolitan area who performs a variety of styles including jazz, Motown, disco, R & B, and classic rock. Nikki has performed at various Andiamo Restaurants, Dylan’s Raw Bar, and Harbor House. She has also performed for many private and corporate organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Children’s Place, Care House of Oakland County, Infinity Yacht Charters, R. L. Polk Co., and Providence Hospital. Other acclaimed performances have been for the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Chene Park, MGM casino, and Motor City Casino.
Nikki has opened for national artists including Howie Mandel, Gladys Knight, Kool, and Gang, and Johnny Gill. She performed as part of an opening act for Tower of Power at the Macomb Performing Arts Center, and for the 100th Birthday Celebration of the American Automobile she wrote and performed an original version of “Happy Birthday” broadcast on national television. For several years Nikki Pearse was a regular on the Mitch Albom Show.
Nikki Pearse co-produced her first CD, “My Romance” which included two of her original compositions. In the past she has worked with the (DRD) Detroit Recreational Department performing at many outdoor park community events and part-time for the DRD Arts Place teaching songs to Head Start children to enhance their vocal, social, and motor skills.
Earlier in her career Nikki Pearse performed in two long running musical shows, “Motown Revue” and “Puttin’ on the Stars” and had an acting role in a children’s television program aired on WXON Channel 20. Nikki was the lead female vocalist for the Sun Messengers band and lead female vocalist for First Call band. She is also creator of three bands: First Rate, Nikki Pearse & Friends and Misbehavin’.
