The Gryphon Trio with vocalist Patricia O’Callaghan — whom Billboard called “the most promising cabaret performer of her generation” — perform music from their extraordinary ground-breaking album, Broken Hearts & Madmen. Global in spirit and genre-stretching in style, the album mixes Latin songs with jazz-tinged tunes by some of pop’s most revered composers, including Nick Drake, Laurie Anderson, Leonard Cohen, Los Lobos, Lhasa, Elvis Costello and Astor Piazzolla.

Jerome Clark began the formal study of guitar at Grinnell Music Studios in Detroit, MI. While attending private lessons he met renowned Detroit Guitarist Perry Hughes. Under Perry’s tutelage he began to play several clubs in and around the City. Some notable performances were with New York’s own Marlena Shaw and the late Charles “The Organ Grinder” Earland. While continuing his education at Eastern Michigan University he met the late Dr. Morris Lawrence, Director of Music for Washtenaw Community College. Under his directive he was exposed to all forms of music. During the past two decades Jerome has performed at world renown Bakers Keyboard Lounge, The Bird of Paradise in Ann Arbor, MI, the Chicago Theater, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and countless private engagements.

She has also performed for many private and corporate organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Children’s Place, Care House of Oakland County, Infinity Yacht Charters, R. L. Polk Co., and Providence Hospital. Other acclaimed performances have been for the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Chene Park, MGM casino, and Motor City Casino.
