The gala re-opening, October 11th, as Aretha’s Jazz Cafe with Kingdom, comprised of some of the best musicians (many of whom have played with The Queen of Soul) in an epic night of honor and music including, Musical Director , Kern Brantley, Rainman , Philip Bates and Nick Behnan and a “who’s who” list of Detroit vocalists including, Kimmie Horne, Gwen Foxx, Cherri Black, Steffanie Christi’an, Kiko, Angela Davis, Redi Choi and Beth.
