Formed originally in 2016, Blank Tape Tax is a punk rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band is the solo project from drummer, lyricist, and guitarist Ben Yost and has drawn from such influences as hardcore punk, jazz, avant-garde, hip-hop, folk punk, and country.
