In the Tradition Jazz Ensemble is a 10-piece band based in Detroit, Michigan. For close to 30 years, the band has distinguished itself for its impeccable delivery of jazz music with an African-centered perspective. In the Tradition’s performances throughout the Detroit area and the Midwest, of both original compositions and jazz standards, has earned the band respect among its peers in the music industry and a wide following.

East Side Jazz Collective

The Eastside Jazz Collective is a 5-piece group with vocals based in Southeast Michigan who have performed at venues including the Blue Llama Jazz Club, the Ann Arbor Art Fair and the Dexter Summer Concert Series. They play classic jazz and swing featuring songs made popular by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday along with some contemporary tunes.

The Billy Davis Rhythm Machine

Billy Davis is an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Doo Wop Hall of Fame, and the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. Billy was the lead guitarist for Hank Ballard and The Midnighters for 30 years.
