Ted Nagy www.tednagy.com

<span> "Ted Nagy takes a well-rounded approach to his songwriting; he studied Jazz at Wayne State University as well as a Creative Writing and continues to combine the two in all of his endeavors. As guitarist, musical director, and producer for several musical projects of poet M.L. Liebler, Nagy has performed with notable artists such as
Arlo Guthrie, Ken Kesey, Luis Resto, John Sinclair, Country Joe McDonald. One of the founders of the Detroit International Jazz Festival, tonight Nagy will be performing his lyrically driven Americana solo work." I’ve recorded and produced a number of albums and other recordings including “Paper Ghost Raindance”, “Beneath The Grand Heaven”, “Live at Junkbaby Studios”, and have been featured on the Motown Ambassadors release of “Detroit City”, which can now be heard on <a href="http://eamtradio.com/" mce_href="http://eamtradio.com/" target="_blank">http://eamtradio.com/</a></span>

Big Nate Band

Singer/songwriter Steve D'Angelo takes you on a trip back to early Counting Crows on a 90's Lollapalooza tour. Influences truly span decades of rock including the Eagles, REM, U2, and Dave Matthews Band. Steve recorded his first full-length band album "Dangerous Words" and was released May 2013 at the Hard Rock Cafe, Detroit.  Before this he recorded four underground albums from 1999-2006. One minute remnants of Dylan on harp echo on a solo ballad, with the next echoing sounds of early Atlanta 90s rock with the full-band. Steve has been compared to the guitar riffs of Jeff Buckley and sings with the vocal stylings of Elvis Costello.

Steve D'Angelo has been playing since his college days at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Since then Steve has toured and played the Southeast and Midwest U. S. Steve broke onto the Detroit music scene in 2005 as a solo artist and later in 2014 created Big Nate Band. Steve has shared bills with other indie acts in the Motor City and recorded with guitarist/singer-songwriter Greg Stryker, who has toured with Eddie Money. He is continuing to book into the 2015 year and is available for solo, duo, and band shows as desired.

Big Nate Band is available to do festivals, house concerts and accommodate as an opening act or solid line-up on any bill. Steve has played Ford's Arts Beats and Eats the last two years and just played the Hamtramck Music Festival to benefit music education. Big Nate Band has played numerous venues as both an opening act and featured artist including the Hard Rock Detroit, Jazz Cafe at Music Hall, Berkley Front, PJ's Lager House, the Ritz and many more. Steve has also been a featured artist at local cafes, coffee shops, and bars in the Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor areas.

Steve is planning on a new studio run with his new Big Nate Band starting summer 2015 and touring again. The Big Nate Band includes: Steve D'Angelo (vox/guitars), Michael Plouffe (saxaphones), Jonathane Leavelle (Bass), and Eric Childress II (Drums).

MarBrisa

I am MarBrisa. This name comes from my musical roots in Guatemala, where I discovered my passion for performing and writing music. It translates into two Spanish root words Mar, meaning sea, and Brisa, meaning breeze, and together these words translate into water and wind, which ultimately means emotional flow. My music carries a lot of emotion and soul, similar to the emotional ruggedness of an ocean, and continues to evolve and move unpredictably like water in whichever form it is in. It also carries a softness to it as it flows to one's soul, a breeze of musical edge to the ears. I hope to spark an emotion in the listener, inspire others to an artistic outlet, and exchange this international language of music to others.

Border Patrol

Border Patrol is a lyrically-driven folk rock group with members from Hamtramck and Windsor. Their songs provide catharsis and try to touch on the struggles of poor mental health and the fear of the stark nature of an indifferent reality. The frontmen of the group, Cody Howard and Dave Toennies, are supported by a full band when not performing as a duo. They can be heard in both Windsor, CA, as well as the Metro Detroit area. Members: Dave Toennies - Guitar Vocals | Cody Howard - Banjo Vocals | Walter Senko - Keys Vocals | Chelsey Hudon - Vocals Aux | Ryan Haggarty - Bass Vocals.
