An exciting mix of acoustic jazz styles, featuring Latin, bop and post-bop jazz, all with an emphasis on rich ensemble writing. Inspired by the early 1950s work of Miles Davis modern Latin Jazz styles, LL7 showcases the imagination, variety, and taste of LaPlante's horn arrangements. LL7 plays a range of music from breathtaking jazz lines to lush romantic ballads to fiery Latin jazz and Latin adaptations of jazz standards. LL7 plays saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and Latin percussion.
